All India Engineering Entrance Examination

Government of India takes the initiative of conducting an entrance test for admission to prestigious higher education in professional and several technical programs.

. This is an all India based entrance test conducted by CBSE. The entrance examination is named as All India Engineering Entrance Examination and it is majorly for the Architectural, Planning and Engineering programs in the prestigious colleges of the country. All those who wish to study anywhere in the country with a result that is accepted every state and in every top colleges then the AIEEE is the perfect examination for that.

The eligibility criterion for this particular exam is extremely important. All students appearing for the exam needs to pass the 12th standard with an aggregate marks of 50%. In this case no deviation is allowed. However final year students may apply for sitting in the examination but it needs to be mentioned earlier. The subjects which are required to study for this examination are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It may be noted that candidates who have already appeared for the exam can sit for AIEEE this year but the rules are changing from the near future. A three exam scheme is being launched where JEE and AIEEE as National level examination and SLEEE as State level Engineering Entrance Examination are being introduced for the state institutions. With this new strategy of exams the pressure on the candidates for several entrance examinations gets reduced and they get the chance to concentrate more. This way the professional standards can also be maintained and parents can reduce thinking about the financial burden for this various examinations.

The application form for the examination can be fetched from online portals very easily. Even hard copy of the forms can be arranged. The sale of forms starts in the month of December and the last date for submission of the same is December 31st. Even for the online application, the last date for submission remains the same. For BE and B.Tech study the question pattern remains objective type on the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and for B Arch the questions are objective type majorly as aptitude test and drawing test. The latter is mainly focused on getting a better idea on the drawing aptitude of the examinee. In this exam each paper extends for a time period of three hours. The results of this exam usually come out on the first week of June.
