All India MCA Common Entrance Test

Master of Computer Application is a popular stream of study and many student wish to get enrolled in this stream and pursue higher education on the subject to have a better tomorrow.

Now for admission to MCA , the IITs conducts a national level entrance test to identify, intelligence, brilliance and motivated students who can do justice to the course. This national level test is named as All India MCA Common Entrance Test which gives the opportunity to study Master of Computer Applications. This is a much competitive exam where students from the whole country participate to get the chance of admission in the reputed colleges studying a prestigious course that guarantees a better earning and better living opportunity.

The eligibility norms for All India MCA Common Entrance test is an important criteria. The primary requirement for appearing for this exam is a bachelor degree. Secondly it requires mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 examination. The candidate must be an Indian national. These are all mandatory requirements with no deviation. However the final year students can apply declaring the same, only if all the other conditions fulfills. The AIMCET is not an easy examination the reason why every student must gather as much knowledge as possible of the examination and its pattern. The question paper of AIMCET will obviously include mathematics but that will of 12th standard and of only 100 questions. There will be computer awareness, logical reasoning and analytical ability of 40 questions each. Other than this one must also be much knowledgeable on general awareness as there will be 20 questions from it too.

Collection of Application form is the most important task for any aspiring candidate. The application form may be collected from the official website of the AIMCET. All that is required is to download the form, fill in the details and submit the same. The physical copy of the application form can also be collected from the authorized centers mentioned in the official website. However the submission o0f the form within the due date is very important. As far information the last day of application receipt is last week of April. The admit cards for the examination are sent in the mid of the month of May. The examination is usually scheduled in the first week of June. The examination is usually taken over on 200 objective questions of 4 marks each in a total tenure of 3 hours.
